Roxy...the giver of snacks...

So Landon brings me a fruit roll-up and says, "Can you open this for me?" I say to him, "Who said that you could have that fruit roll-up?" He tells me, "Roxy." I asked him how he got it. He says that Roxy told him to get a stool, get in the closet and get a fruit roll-up. Landon again asks me, Can you open this for me?" I said you will have to go ask Roxy to open it for you since she said you can have it. He says, "Mama, Roxy is the dog." I said, "Exactly." Landon just stood there looking at me and finally said, "Mama, may I have the fruit roll-up then, please?"

More Fun on Ice!

We have been having fun skating at my house and at Trisha's house! Landon has been really trying to skate and he is so darn cute pushing the chair around the rink! Ryan says he is the next Sydney Crosby- GO RYAN! I am just glad to be skating around- I skate decent nothing fancy but Ryan thinks it is so cool that I can skate forward and backward! Must be that ice skating class that I took at Cortland and the first few years teaching at Batavia when I taught ice skating lessons to my Physical Education classes. The other day we were at Trish's and Fred and Ry were playing Cooper and Kevin! We are having a blast! I hope it stays cold so we can keep on skating.....

Landon Skates

Last night we went out to skate at about 7. Landon who has been putting on his skates and then refusing to get on the ice- declared that he was ready to skate! Fred put his skates on and Landon skated with my help. Then he wanted Fred to help him, then he wanted to try on his own. He was so funny- his legs were moving so fast and he kept falling. We had to tell him to slow down but he kept moving his legs too fast and going no where fast- it was like a cartoon character. I am just happy that he wanted to skate! Good job Landon. Ryan of course was circling around us the whole time.....he is getting pretty good.....if I do say so myself!

Winter Fun at the Hamilton's

Today Ryan (green coat/camo coat)and Fred (blue/red pants) skated on our own rink and then went over to Kevin and Trisha's to skate. Landon and I tagged along and just watched. We had fun but Landon and I had to leave because he was starting to get cold. Kevin (in camo jumper) had a bunch of his players at his house from Coopers hockey team and they all were having a great time! Cooper (orange hat) got hit in the knee with the puck and Fred took a puck to the shin but that was the worst of the few injuries! Thank goodness! I need to invest in some ice skates and get Landon out there! He wants me to skate with him, his little skates are so cute!. Maybe this week I will get a pair! I also included a picture of our house. ****Update- we went outside last night and Fred, Ryan and Uncle "B" (neighbor) skated. Landon, Aunt Danielle (neighbor) and I watched and then Landon got out on the ice minus his skates. He laid down on the ice and said he was the puck and then Uncle "B" used his stick and pushed him into the goal! He shoots, he scores!
