HAPPY EASTER to all! So the boys were up really early this morning- had to put boys back to bed once at 5:15.... we got out of bed at 7, and the Easter Bunny left a note for the boys in his room. Landon and Ryan went on a little Easter Clue hunt around the house and eventually found theiir Easter baskets. Landon was under his crib and Ryan's was on Fred's workout lifting bench. Then they had a little Easter egg hunt in the house. The Easter Bunny left a few "monies" in the Easter eggs they found, woah baby! The neighbors, "Aunt Danielle and Uncle B" also hid eggs in the side yard for the boys to find. Aunt Danielle called at 7:15 to ask if the boys were ready because "B" could hardly wait for the boys to go look for the eggs. So at 7:30 the boys were running around the side yard finding eggs! They had so much fun! We really do have great neighbors!
Okay, so this is Easter Part II- Johnson/Brownell Easter. At noon we met over to Mom and Dad's- well we were late and I am glad we were because one of our friends, Colleen (her son Bodie was in Ryan's class last year) brought the "Real" Easter Bunny to our house. Ryan ran right up to the Easter Bunny and jumped into his arms, while Landon hid because he was afraid of him. It was so cool though to see the Easter Bunny! We finally arrived at Mom and Dad's house and had an Easter Egg hunt there too! They had a blast running around the yard, finding the eggs. Each kid had a different color to look for, Landon-yellow, Ryan-green, Kennedy-pink and Cooper- blue. Nana and Papa gave lots of little trinkets to the kids. It was very considerate and the kids were grateful. We had lasagna for Easter lunch! It was yummy! I especially loved the Cheesecake! I only like cheesecake from the box, the no bake kind! It is terrific! Oh yeah- I made cupcakes yesterday- made them look like little Easter baskets- they were cute! Everyone liked them!
