Swearing....

So Ryan asked Fred the other day if he could swear but use it in a good way. They had just arrived home from open skate at the ice rink and Ryan had done an awesome job there. Fred was so proud and came home bragging about how well Ry had done. So Fred decides to hear Ryan out on this whole swearing thing.... so Fred says okay buddy what do you want to say. Ryan says, "On Tuesday I am going to skate so fast they aren't even going to see my ass!" So Fred says okay, buddy no more swearing and looks at me and we both just started laughing.....

OH- WINGED FAIRY!

Oh, WINGED FAIRY! Ryan lost his other front tooth on Monday, March 5th. The Tooth Fairy forgot to come Tuesday morning- maybe she went to bed early? But on Wednesday- there was a letter and $2 from the Tooth Fairy!

Landon had a field trip with his class on March 1st. We went to the Strong Museum of Play in Rochester. My mother-in-law Chris (AKA Ree Ree) went on the trip with us since she had never been there. Landon had a blast and I can say that I had a great time too! I love the picture of Ree on the bike! I think I may photo shop a witch hat on her head and a cape... I told her I was going to! It was a great day. I even got to drop and pick up Ryan from school that day!

Grumpy Badger's Christmas

Landon loves the book- Grumpy Badger's Christmas. We got it out of the library before Christmas and then returned it a week later. Landon kept asking for it, so I requested it from the libray because someone else had it out. Well, it took two months for me to receive it and Landon couldn't get enough of it. Ryan read it several times to him and Fred and I did too. I just returned it to the library this week and Landon has asked for it again. I decided to buy it and now amwaiting for Easter to give it to him. I am guessing we will have it out of the library again before then!

Valentine's Day

Valentine's Day was fun! The boys and I had heart shaped red pancakes that Fred made especially for us! They were good! The boys I also made cut out heart shaped cookies and decorated them. They were delicious!

Gavin William D'Amico

Here is our knew nephew! He is adorable! Fred's little sister, Nicole and her husband Dave's little creation! The kids just absolutely love him! He was born February 4th.

Hockey

Hockey has been so much fun to watch this year. Ryan is in the beginner program again but next year he will be a Mite. He will have evaluations on Monday. He has learned so much hand I am so proud of him. The other kids look up to him and having Fred coach the Beginner progrm has been a real plus. Ryan is still working on being more aggressive but it will come eventually. We are still trying to talk Landon into playing- hestill is unsure. We will keep working on him. For now he likes to watch Ryan and play with his friend McKenna who goes to watch her brother Brady. Next Saturday is the Cross Ice Tournament. Ryan and his team will be playing each of the other teamsthat day! It is their culminating event of the season- it will be fun!

Eating Cake- Yum

We made a cake- because well, we just wanted some. It was good! Then Ryan and Landon put some puzzles together!

Cleaning House

Landon wanted to vacuum- I had to take a picture. The vacuum is bigger than he is!

Playing in the Snow

We finally had a day that we could play in the snow. The kids were happy and I was REALLY happy when it melted the next day. I can honestly say this has been the weirdest winter ever. Just a few days ago it was 60 degrees- all the snow had melted and then wake up the next day to 28 degrees and snowing. I am ready to move onto spring and I want the warm weather to stay!
