May 2014

So May has been fun so far! Ryan had his last spring league hockey game on May 3rd and his first lacrosse game that day too! While he isn't sure of all the rules yet he is doing a decent job so far! On Mother's Day we went to Gram's and did yard work! It was a great day and we finally tamed this bush at Gram's that has been out of control for some time, but now I think it will be manageable for years to come if we keep it from spreading! On May 14th my new niece Gracelyn Christne was born! Daughter of Fred's little sister Nicole and her husband Dave. Gracelyn joins big brother Gavin who turned 2 in February! Lot's more stuff to come in May! Just you wait....and hopefully I will keep up to date on this blog.....Sorry everyone! Love ya though!

March & April 2014

March brought more Firland Flyer hockey games and the Colin Crane Tournament- Ryan was on the blue team and Cooper was on the Red team. It is an in house Mite hockey tournament. It was really fun and in the end the Blue team prevailed! Ryan was 2nd overall for the 3rd grade storytelling contest and he was picked to go to Pavilion School to tell his Golden Arm story. He received a medal and we were proud! Then we headed to Massachusetts for the Mite UMass hockey tournament where the Firland Flyers/Batavia Ramparts came in 2nd for their division! Go team! Then there was John Kennedy Pasta night for families of JK students. They sang and danced for us! Ryan and Landon went to Ryan's best bud Mason's bowling birthday party. Landon lost teeth! Lacrosse started for Ryan and he is enjoying it! He has been practicing outside and Landon has been going crazy riding his bike everywhere he can! Happy Easter! We had brunch at Trish and Kevin's, our annual Easter Egg hunt at Mom & Dad's and then we went over to Fred & Cindy's for dinner. Fred missed the fun- he had a double. Yuck! Ryan turned 9! Can't believe it! He got up early opened his presents, went to his spring hockey league game, came home had friends over to play hockey in the parking lot of a church nearby and then we went to Tully's later on that evening and Mason spent the night! It was a great March and April!!!
