1st Day of School

Ryan and Landon started school on September 7th. Ryan- 1st grade and Landon- UPK! Ryan has Mrs. Kennedy and he really likes her and Landon has Miss Zinni and Mrs. Saunders (Ryan had them) and he totally loves them and we do too! I hope we all have a great school year! (We got the boys Smurf shirts for starting school- we loved the movie)!

Frozen Bananas

Fred froze bananas and then we dipped them in chocolate with our neighbors Danielle and "B"! They were so good! The boys found the bunny ears and I had to take the picture when "B" had them on! Uncle "B"- you are a silly bunny!

Labor Day Weekend

We went camping at Lakeside State Beach Park for Labor Day weekend with Mom, Dad, Trish, Kevin, Kennedy & Cooper. Our campsite was awesome and it only rained one time when we were there (We have been there 2 other times and it rained the entire weekend)! On Saturday we met the Bromsted family at Brown's Berry Patch and got ice cream and peaches! We also played in the kids playground and played at the petting farm! Back at the campground the kids played on the playground and rode their bikes! Did I mention that RYAN CAN RIDE HIS BIKE WITHOUT HIS TRAINING WHEELS? Well, he can and I can proudly say that I helped him do it all the way! Uncle Markie, Aunt Ashley, Aunt Nicole, Ree Ree all came to visit! We sang Kennedy a Happy 8th Birthday!

Ryan meets Mrs. Kennedy

On August 31st, Ryan got to go into his 1st grade class and meet his teacher Mrs. Kennedy. He also got to bring all his supplies in and put them where the belonged. He got to see his friends also, however- all his best buddies are in the other two classes. I took a picture of his friend Ella and him!

Wedding Fun

We got invited to Jen Saunder's wedding and Fred couldn't attend. Jen is the daughter of my retired co-worker Rick and his wife is Landon's pre-school teacher. I went with the Pedersen's (Paul & Kristen- I work with Paul). We had a good time! There was this photo booth where you were supposed to dress up goofy and get your picture taken so we did with another one of our friends John. I got home at 2am- I never stay out that late.....

Mohawks

I gave Ryan and Landon partial Mohawks. Everyone thought it looked great except Fred. That is okay...they got it all buzzed off for school to start!

Watkins Glen Races

So every year we say that this will be the lst year we go to the races.....and every year we find ourselves right back at the races and having some kick butt fun! The boys go with us and they absolutely love it! This was Ryan's 7th year and Landon's 4th year of going! The neighbors gave them Aaron's hats and the hats had a dog with floppy ears coming off of it- everyone we saw wanted one of those hats! We went and go a ton of free chips and dip and Dad and I shaved at the Schick/Edge booth. They had sinks with mirrors set up for men to shave their faces so I climbed up and started shaving my legs. The people walking by and working the booth had a good laugh- and hey I didn't care I got to shave! I took the kids to Corning to see Becky and her children, Nicholas, Ashlee and Cole- we had ice cream, swam, & played at the playground. Fred and I took the kids to the Watkins Glen playground at the school- the kids love that playground (they always play at it when we got to the Relay for Life of Watkins Glen) and Fred and I like it because the trak is right there and we take turns running! It was a beautiful weekend until it started to rain on Sunday- they postponed the race until Monday but we didn't end up staying... it was fun anyhow!

Budman turns 67!

Papa Bud turned 67 on August 8th! We of course celebrated his birthday with presents and a cake! We love you Papa! XOXOXOXOXO
