Kennedy's Bell Choir

Kennedy played in the Bell Choir this year at school! She had a concert at the NY State Blind School and then one yesterday at the little Batavia mall, Christmas in the City. She did such a super job playing. Cooper had to get dressed up because Kennedy got dressed up! He was a handsome dude and of course Kennedy was adorable as usual! After the little concert was over we went out to dinner and then home to watch the Muppets Christmas Special and then to bed!

We Saw Santa!!!!!!

We got up early and went to Applebee's for Breakfast with Santa! Santa and Mrs. Claus were there greeting everyone and of course taking a mental note of what every good little boy and girl wanted... Landon would not go anywhere near either of them, I was hoping for a nice picture of the boys but I had to be in the picture because Landon wouldn't let go of me.... oh well, maybe next year. Anyway... Ryan told Santa that he wanted a big Bumblebee Transformer and a Kitchen Set to play in. Landon on the other hand wants Soup and a candy bar! Yes, you just read that, Soup and a candy bar!!!!! He is too funny and of course I should enjoy this because I am sure next year he is going to want something besides soup and a candy bar. I will try to make a video of him saying what he wants for Christmas! Breakfast was good and then we went home and decorated the house. Fred decorated outside with Ryan and I decorated with Landon inside. We have a few more things to put up and then we will be done! When Fred left for work we went over to Nana and Papa's house to see their Christmas decorations. There are over 30 pointsetta's in the house, 30....I think it is a bit much (Sorry Mom)! But the house does look wonderful!

Happy Birthday Landon

Happy Birthday Landon! Today we celebrated Landon's second birthday. We got up and had breakfast and Landon opened his gifts. He got a Tag Jr. reading system and was so pleased. He also got some glow bracelets and couldn't wait for it to get dark so that he could put them on. We then had to pick up his cupcakes from TOPS. He got a Elmo cake (cupcakes with tons of frosting stuck together)! Then we had pizza for lunch and Nana and Papa and MeeMee all came to celebrate. MeeMee got Landon the Wonder Pets classroom and he was so excited! He loved being sung to and then just took a bite from the cake. He had so much fun! When Fred went to work, we headed for Grandma "McCarfy's" We spent the rest of the night playing and relaxing and eating! It was a special day! I just can't believe he is 2, time has really flown by! I am so glad that he likes to snuggle still..... Happy Birthday buddy, you are so darn cute!

First Day of School

Ryan went to school today for an hour. We learned the rules of the class, the teachers expectations, got to play with some new friends and some old friends, filled out paper work and then got to go home. So he is excited to offically start tomorrow!
Kennedy and Cooper both started today! Kennedy looks so adorable with her new hair cut and clothes! Her teacher is Mrs. Mattice! Kennedy bought her lunch today! She is definitely excited to be a 1st grader! Cooper got to play out on the playground- he thought that was the best thing about school today! Trish says the best part of Coopers school is that he gets free lunch! Apparently UPK goers don't have to pay for lunch! Nice!
Trish watched the kids today! Landon is the Knight and aren't they all so cute in Trisha's car?

Going Back to Work

Well, I have had an excellent summer and tomorrow I return to work! I some how wish that I could have stumbled into a great sum of money this summer and not had to return to work. That did not happen and so here I am the night before work begins frantically trying to get things done that I wanted to accomplish this summer. Some things will just have to wait. (I do like my job at school teaching Physical Education don't get me wrong, I just happen to like being a full time Mom even more!)

Ryan starts pre-school on Wednesday at the YMCA. He is excited and nervous at the same time! He will be fine when he gets there since he has been going to school there since he was 2. He gets to swim again this year and play in the gym. He is looking forward to reading and writing. I am glad. I will let you know how his first day goes!
