Hanging out with Mommy

Here are a couple pictures of the boys tonight just hanging out with Mommy. We played, ate dinner, read stories, had a bath and had a dance party tonight. Ryan thought he was Kung Fu Panda guy and Landon just stopped dancing, dropped to the floor and posed for the picture, "Cheese!"

Underwear

Ryan has been doing a lot better at making sure he doesn't have accidents in his pants... for the past three days he has said that pull ups are for babies and he is ready to wear his underwear (FINALLY). So... today he went to school with underwear on, no pull up. Fred took him to school and was talking to his teachers and turned around to say goodbye to Ryan and what do you think he sees? No, Ryan didn't pee his pants... he was actually standing in the middle of the classroom with his pants around his ankles modeling his underwear! Nice huh? Fred had to go over to him and explain that although we are very proud of him, he cannot show his classmates his underwear. Ryan thought the whole thing was just too funny, even when I asked him about it before he went to bed tonight, he just giggled about the whole thing. Oh, Ryan...

Thank you Aunt Jackie & Aunt Myra

Ryan and Landon want to thank you so much for the gifts you sent them. Landon loves his Buffalo Bills hat and Ryan loves the Kung Fu Panda Responsibilities Chart. You are the best! Thank you so much! Ryan says, "That was really nice of them to think of me, thanks!"

I love my.....

Landon loves to walk around with the backpack on. He brings it to Fred or I and then turns around. He says, "Pack" or sometimes, "Pack-Pack!"

Melts my Heart

Last night as I was feeding Landon the cutest thing happened. He stopped eating and he blew me a kiss, then he tried to stand up and I tried to keep him where he was but he refused. He was yelling so I let him stand up. Then he reached up and hugged me and patted me on the back. Then he wanted to resume eating. My heart melted, I just love him to pieces. He has grown so fast and has done everything faster than Ryan did. Of course he has big brother Ryan to show him the ropes. Ryan loves to teach him things and it is cute and I am glad that Ryan takes the time to try. Even I learn something new everyday by just watching them. Mostly, they teach me not to take things for granted. Even the simple things are important. I am so happy and lucky that these two little boys are mine. I have no idea what I would do without them. I love them so much!

I stumbled upon a little quote the other day, not sure who wrote it but I am going to share:

"They know me in a way no one ever has. They open me to things I never knew existed. They drive me to insanity and push me to my depths. They are the beat of my heart, the pulse of my veins and the energy in my soul. They are my kids."

Happy Birthday Julie!

Today is my older sister, Julie's birthday. However, if you ask her, she still claims that she is the baby of the family, ("I'm the Baby!"). That is okay by me, she will have to fight Trish over the title and I am pretty sure that Trish doesn't mind either. So anyway..... Jules, Happy Birthday and we hope that you have a super day filled with lots of wonderful surprises! We all love you! Have a great day!
