Finally spring break! We drove to Hamburg, PA on Monday, April 18th to visit Cabela's Hunting store! It really is an amazing place and I think we spent over three hours there just looking around and having lunch! Cabela's was fun but there is nothing in Hamburg....the city is being developed but the only thing there is a Walmart (Brand new I must add and sparkling clean-never saw a Walmart so clean!) and a Cracker Barrel (We do not like). We stayed at the Comfort Inn- they had a pool and that was the nicest thing about it! Ryan threw up all night- on the bathroom floor, on Fred... but by morning he was fine. So..... we drove off to Hershey Park! The park wasn't open but we headed into Hershey's Chocolate World! We went on the free tour two times and learned how chocolate is made and got a free sample of chocolate- yum! The boys enjoyed the singing cows- named Harmony, Olympia and Gabby! Then we went and created our own chocolate bars and wrappers! We got to pick out what type of chocolate bars we wanted: white, dark or milk chocolate. Then you could pick three toppings: chocloate chips, white chocolate chips, cookie pieces, toffee pieces, almonds or pretzels. Then sprinkles or no sprinkles. We got to wear aprons and hair nets.... it was a cool experience! The candy bars were good too! After leaving the Chocolate World we went shopping at the Hershey's Outlets and went to dinner at Red Robin- YUM! We stayed the night in a fancy hotel- Hilton Garden- too many dressed up people in lobby, honor Bar in lobby, with sleep number beds, fluffy white comforters, flat screen t.v.'s, hot tub and pool and a kick butt workout room- treadmills with t.v.'s! To say the least we had a great time in the hotel!!! We stayed the night and decided it was time to go home! Our little getaway was fun though!
